Breast implant surgery is usually associated with women, but at some point, surgeons perform it for transgender purposes.

Breast implants vary in terms of types, but the most common ones are silicone, saline, structured saline, gummy bear, textured, and round breast. These different breast implants differ in how they are inserted, but the outcome is alike: an attractive breast profile.

For one to be regarded as an ideal candidate for this surgery, physical health is a prerequisite. It is usually done on women who are over 18 years since the breasts would have fully developed. Women who have droopy breasts after pregnancy, those who have had a weight loss and those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer before would make good candidates.

What are the main differences?

Each procedure comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages. Breast implants are usually used to enhance the shape and size of the breast, and it cannot lift saggy breasts. But with a breast lift, it's the opposite, the focus is on breast position, and the size will not be increased.
