Statistics also show that the 5 - and 10 -year relative survival rates for invasive breast cancer are 90% and 83%, respectively. 62% of breast cancer cases are diagnosed at a localized stage (no metastasis to lymph nodes, nearby structures, or other organs outside the breast), for which the 5-year survival is 99%.

We all fear cancer. And there is a good reason for that – in some cases, only early diagnosis may give us hope that a fight with a tumor will be successful. However, we are often confused for detecting the early signs of cancer. After all, there are many types of cancer out there, with different ways of development and cancer symptoms. Should we just give up then and wait for our fate? Not at all.
